You don’t need to be able to touch your toes or stand on your head to do yoga. It’s not about being good at it and achieving amazing postures. It’s for you and me, the young, the old, all shapes, sizes and abilities. The physical practice of yoga (asana) will no doubt have you feeling better in your body, increase your range of motion, ease out knots of tension and counter the effects of spending too much time in the same position. Bring in attention to breath and you’ll feel present, aware and a quieting of your mind often so hard to find in our busy every day lives. From that place you can empty away thoughts, let go, re-charge and re-set, bringing a sense of physical, mental and emotional balance allowing us live more in harmony with ourself and others.
